use the pen tool to outline each element. Load the paths as selections and use the paint bucket tool or the paint brush to change the color of the images.

Once the images have been outlined and selected, we are going to create a sample proof that illustrates how the images would look in other school colors.

Colorize the H and the Hawk useing the following colors. You should have 4 (four) different colorized versions of the same object: 4 H's and 4 Hawks, all in different colors.

For today, download the picture of Hillgrove High School. MAke sure you follow the link to the largest image available. Do not simply drag this thumbnail to your desktop. If you do, the assignment will not work properly.

Once you have downloaded the picture, open it in Ps, unlock the background and use the pen tool to trace a path all the way around the sky, including the roof and trees. Load this path as a selection and delete the sky. Using the web, locate a large image of the sky. This image can be stormy, cloudy, a sun set, a sun rise,etc. Place the new sky behind the school picture layer and resize as needed. Flatten the image and save it to your classwork folder.
