If you were running for office, any office at all, what would your campaign poster look like?

Design a campaign poster for yourself for which ever office you would like to be in, using type, color, pictures and shapes. LOOK AT EXAMPLES!!!

 

Monday, 1st block

this illustration can be used as your single page coloring book illustration for your portfolio.

There are some changes you will have to make however.

Once the image is done, you will have to eliminate all the fills and use black strokes.

The gradients can be solid black, and the starburst in the background can be black and white, or gray and white. I would leave a small thin stroke on the stars with no fill. Just make it look like a coloring book page. Then you will have to decide what type of coloring book page it is. Is it an animal book, an alphbet book, a silly creatures book. Once that is decided, you will have to create a cover for your coloring book. Use Ps for that. remember: these items are due on May 11.

Poster design 2nd block

Its a simple design using Ps.

The only real change that you should make is to NOT use the images of the boxers given. You can use images, or ideas of your own choosing as long as the text reflects the images you use. For example, you use Godzilla and King Kong, the text should not read "Monroe vs.Kates".

You can use the digital camera to take a photo of another. You can also use institutions, such as Hillgrove vs. harrison, or WalMArt vs Kmart. 

Follow the steps outlined in the instructions.

If a picture is blocked, simply find one that is similar. Dont forget your stock photos @ sxc.hu. The log in is teacher412, and the password is hillgrove.

Not only will you need this image, but we will also be working with clipping masks again.

We will be using the pen tool to create your name. Your name will then be used as the basis for a clipping mask. I will go over these instructions during class.
