Now that Typepad is up and running, you may want to check it out every now and then. It is my intention to post all my classroom assignments to this blog, so that students can access the information from either at home or in the classroom.
I have completed the second notebook check for the semester. It appears that most of you are doing the work. Those of you that are not, you are behind. Remember that everyday we begin new assignments and there is very little time during class to play catch-up. If you need to see me after school or before, please make arrangments with me so that we can plan for that.
I have posted most of the assignments on this blog. I have also created a list of items that were checked for the second notebook. If you did not have it, you can still complete the assignments.
I have the extra credit bonus question listed below. These questions, if answered correctly, are worth 3 points extra credit. To answer the question, simply write the answer down and give it to me. If you tell someone else the answer, then all the fun is taken out of it. And if during class everyone begins to tell the answer then the question will become void, providing no extra credit for anyone. (So don't blow it by spillin' the beans.)
The first question is:
What was the first book printed with Johannes Gutenberg's movable type press?
The answer is the Bible, also known as the 42 line Bible and Gutenberg's Bible. Good job Devon for getting that correct.
The new question for the week is:
Which Adobe application creates its art using math?
I was ashamed that no one tried this one. The answer of course is Illustrator.
I'll post one more, just to see if there is any response.
Selecting the text in Photoshop and placing an image "inside" the text creates an effect refered to as a___ ____?
Good luck.
