Hope you enjoyed your long weekend.  We have a lot to work on this week with 1984, grammar, and senior project!

Any of these responses can be made towards television or computers. How many hours a day of TV do you watch? Are we influenced by those things around us? Do we copy what we see? Explain. How influential is TV on you? Do we too easily trust what is on TV? What is the danger in being influenced by things we see? Can influence be positive and negative? Explain. Give examples from your own experience? How is this idea related to Winston’s experience based on what you read last night? Can television be more influential than family? Explain. Is television truly dangerous?
