APUSH Students...
Here is the agenda Week #14.
I have spread out the reading assignments, discussions, and assessments this week so that the major assessments will be completed every-other day (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
MONDAY, April 23rd
- Complete: DBQ #3 - Group Assignment (Topic - "Depression / New Deal")
- Reading: Chapter 29 - "From Isolation to Global War"
- Discussion: Students will discuss APUSH topics from Chapter 29 - "From Isolation to Global War"
- Daily Assessment: Key events and individuals leading to the United States involvement in World War II (part of this is from Friday's discussion on the events leading to
NOTE: Students will work in groups of 3-4 to complete the first part of DBQ #3 outline discussing documents and primary sources and then individually complete the second part of DBQ #3 in the form of a written assignment.
TUESDAY, April 24th
- Reading: Chapter 30 - "World War II"
- Discussion: Students will discuss APUSH/GPS topics from Chapter 30 - "World War II"
WEDNESDAY, April 25th
- Reading: Chapter 30 - "World War II"
- Complete: Unit Quiz #9 - "The Twenties, Depression, & New Deal" (Chapters 26-28)
- Discussion: Students will discuss APUSH/GPS topics from Chapter 30 - "World War II"
- Daily Assessment: Key events and individuals involving to the United States in World War II
THURSDAY, April 26th
- Reading: Chapter 31 - "The Fair Deal & Containment"
- Discussion: Students will discuss APUSH/GPS topics from Chapter 31 - "The Fair Deal & Containment"
FRIDAY, April 27th
- Complete: Test #3 (Units 7-9, Chapters 19-28)
- Due: Maps for Unit #10
Key dates to remember:
1. Historic Interview is due on Tuesday, May 1st (so be sure to check the Blog for the historic interview questions which I updated on the Blog for your quick reference).
2. APUSH Exam: Friday, May 11th
3. U.S. History EOCT: Monday and Tuesday, May 14th and May 15th
4. Decade Project Presentations: Thursday (May 17th), Friday (May 18th), Monday (May 21st), and Tuesday (May 22nd)
5. Final Exam (Unit Quizzes 10-12): Thursday, May 24th.
