Math 2 with Support Week #4 (1/30 - 2/3)

Monday 1/23

    Mitchell Group

    Penland Group

  • We went over hw and worked a few problems.
  • Students got in to thier quads. We practiced checking the solutions when solving absolute value equations.  We also practiced solving and checking.
  • Notes: Download 7 - Solve Absolute Value Equations 
  • Daily check
  • HW:  textbook p. 30 #7 - 16

Tuesday 1/24

    Mitchell Group

  • We went over the hw and worked a few of them out.
  • Students got in to their quads and practiced more with solving absolute value inequalities.  Students were having some problems with their test points.  Some were having problems with writing the answer out. 
  • Practice:  Download 8 - Solve Absolute Inequality Equations
  • Daily Check
  • HW textbook p. 30 #17 - 22 and p. 31 #19, 21, 23, 24

  • We went over the hw and worked a few of them out.  Many students are not attempting their homework.  This is frustrating.  They need the practice.  Several are not showing all of their work too.
  • Students got in to their quads and practiced more with solving absolute value inequalities.  Students were having some problems with their test points.  Some were having problems with writing the answer out.
