Savannah State is one of only two recipients nationwide for the National Institutes of Health Contract Award. The goal of the "Expanding Diversity" research training program is to increase the number of minority students who earn a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) and enter STEM graduate programs and search careers. Award money will be used to support 15 Savannah State incoming freshmen STEM majors. Please contact Savannah State for more information. The deadline for the NIBIB Scholarship is March 15, 2012
