WELCOME!

Welcome to the Hillgrove Library BLOG.  Research at Hillgrove is in full-swing, and we have many classes working on projects these days.  Be sure to click on Current Projects in the Category list - in the right hand column - and look for your teacher and class project.  Chances are, you will find a Pathfinder there that you can use.  If you find that you're stumped, please ask one of your library staff members for help.

Browse through the helpful homework links on the left side of this page under Important Links and Library Links. You'll find sites that help you with research from beginning (locating a topic) to end (citing your sources).

Check out the Recent Posts in the right column to see what posts are new.  We try to post new and interesting information and links every week.  The Check It Out category also has postings on things you may find helpful, interesting or maybe just fun!  And the General category contains posts about library hours and policies.

Also, click on the Calendar category to see what is happening in the Hillgrove Library.  Classes that are coming in, meetings that are taking place, visitors who are here and staff development classes scheduled are all there.

Parents and teachers, we have resources for you too.  Check out the categories to the right for Parent Resources and Teacher Resources.

Please note that we have changed our hours for 2007-2008.  We open at 7:30 am every morning and close at 3:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  On most Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, we remain open until 5:00 pm for students and staff to work on extended projects, use the computers, read, etc.  Please check the weekly calendar on the library window, or the calendar on this blog.

We're glad you're here!
