Block 4

We began reading Fahrenheit 451 bu Ray Bradbury yesterday.  Make sure you get a copy.

Presentations of research papers will be May 15 and 16.

You must dress up and have a visual aid for your presentation.

Blocks 1 and 3

Review each day for EOCT given on May 12 and 13.  Please be present each day.

Review of The Odyssey on Wednesday with test on Thursday.

We will then begin reading Night.  Make sure you have a copy of the book by Thursday.

Test on Greek Drama on Thursday.

The class is reading Antigone.

Vocabulary quiz on Friday.

Blocks 1 and 3

The class is reading The odyssey.  Start Pt. 2 on Thursday.

Vocabulary Quiz on Friday. 

Block 3--Final drafts of Research Paper due Monday.

Block 4

Test today over Vocabulary Unit 8.

We are currently reading Antigone by Sophocles.

A test over Greek Drama and background material to Antigone will be given on Wednesday, April 30.

Don't foget to obtain a copy of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.  We will begin reading that book when we finish Antigone.

Test today over Vocabulary Unit 8.

We are reading The Odyssey with a planned test in the near future.

Third (3rd) Block's Research Paper is due on Thursday, May 1.  The final draft, rough draft, notecards, copies, and rubric should all be turned in a brown envelope.

Don't forget to get a copy of the novel Night by Elie Wiesel.  We will be reading that book upon the completion of The Odyssey.

Vocabulary Unit 8 Test Friday.

We are finishing up our Poetry Unit, and notebooks are due Friday.

Block 3

Your research papers are due Tuesday, April 29.

Poetry notebooks are due later this week.  Exact date will be listed later.

We began Vocabulary Unit 8 today.

Blocks 1 and 4

Research papers are due on Tuesday, April 22.  If it is late, papers will be deducted ten points a day, no matter the excuse.

Poetry notebooks are due on Friday.

Vocabulary Unit 8 was started today.

Vocabulary Unit 7 Quiz on Friday.

We are working on Poetry Notebooks which will be due next week.

Final drafts of Research Papers are due Tuesday, 4/22 for 1st and 4th blocks.

Rough  Drafts are due Friday, 4/17 for 3rd. block.
