Afternoon Basketball Homecoming Pep Assembly Today.  All class periods are shortened.

10th Blocks 1 & 4:  SAT Practice.  Unit 1 Vocabulary Test words 1-10.  1st Block read E. A. Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death" and began discussing literary elements.  Discussion will continue on Monday.  Block 4 concluded their discussion on symbolism in preparation for next week's quiz.

9th Block 3:  EOCT Practice.  Unit 1 Vocabulary Test words 1-10.  The class discussed hunting as a sport in preparation of the next short story and began reading "The Most Dangerous Game."  Reading and discussion will continue on Monday.
