Thank you for your interest in Beta Club!
Beta is an honor society with a focus on community service, character, and leadership.
Obligations for Beta members for 2009-2010 school year:
- 30 “points” or the equivalent of 15 community service hours—through your own volunteering activities or through school-sponsored Beta events; notes of service hours with dates and times can be submitted via e-mail to jeanine.allen@cobbk12.org or with a written note to room 1211
- $15 National Beta dues one time and then $10 each year for returning members (cash or check made payable to Hillgrove H.S.)
- Attendance at 5 meetings held the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:45 A.M. in the auditorium or after school in room 1211
- No disciplinary infractions resulting in ISS or OSS and no acts of academic dishonesty—revocation of membership will result
- Beta members lead by example—thank you for demonstrating character, achievement, and leadership!
