I've been asked a few questions about weight lifting shoes from students. The link posted here http://www.quest-nutrition.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=39 is a recommended lifting shoe. These shoes provide excellent support and help the lifter maintain weight through the heel when squatting, deadlifting, and our olympic lifts (ground-based lifts). I would only recommend this shoe for the advanced lifters. The worst shoe to wear when performing ground-based lifts are the shoes with "bubbles" in the heels!! They absorb the force that lifters are trying to deliver through the platorm or ground. Just a suggestion.
