British Literature

Today, we finished "The Battle with Grendel's" Mother in Beowulf. We also began looking for quotes that exemplify each of the 4 Anglo-Saxon hero traits.

Anglo-Saxon riddle is due tomorrow.  4 Lines with caesuras, 2 examples of a kenning, 2 examples of alliteration.

Do you have The Last Kingdom yet?  We start reading it Monday.  Chances of you finding it Sunday night are very slim.  Get it now!
