Following the Ap lit.terms quiz (#1), the class was introduced to the Blau technique of poetry analysis with "The Chimney Sweeper" poems, by William Blake. Tomorrow's class will be direct toward an introduction to and initial reading and discussion of The Ballad of the Sad Cafe. As well, students need to have a copy of As I Lay Dying (Faulkner) by next Friday.Download Gothic Literature
