Accelerated Math 1 Homework - 1/30

We reviewed our tests today and then, we started a new unit on geometry today.  The first 2 days deal with congruence of triangles.  We learned the postulates today and how to apply them.  We will do a task tomorrow that will reinforce the applications.

We worked on drawing tree diagrams today and how to solve problems that have outcomes that are equally likely and one problem where are they are not equally likely.  If the outcomes are equally likely, you can just count to find the probabilities.  If you have different probabilities, you will have to multiply the probabilities.

We covered the last lesson of the unit today on transformations of graphs.  This is a very important lesson, as it will be used again as we talk about quadratics and will be a foundation to many of the concepts taught in future math classes.  We will review tomorrow for Friday's test.
