Banking & Investing -
In Banking & Investing, the students are going to income and asset protection. We will analyze and discuss issues pertaining to Risk Management and Property/Liability Insurance, Health Care Planning and Life Insurance Planning.
Students will continue to analyze IRAs (both Roth and Traditional) as well as 401ks and 403bs.
Students will read a few articles and take another quiz on the above topics.
Business Law -
In Business Law, students will begin to examine how to find laws. Students will find laws on the Federal, State and local levels using Internet law resources. The students will also read court cases and decipher what laws, rules and regulations, were established based on the court(s) decision(s).
Students will also begin to learn about bankruptcy, foreclosures and repossessions and what their legal rights are pertaining to these topics.
Students will read a few articles, take a quiz and answer a few short answer/essay questions reinforcing what they are learning.
