ALL CLASSES - 1/23/12

Today in class:

  • We discussed the awkward situation with the Sloan family, repeating the past, and why Daisy didn't like the party at Gatsby's house. 

For Tuesday's class:

  • Get ready for chaos to begin tonight in chapter 7.  We know someone is going to die, but who will it be?  Read it and see.  How will Tom react to the news of the affair?  How will Myrtle fit into all of this?  Will Nick be in an awkward situation yet again?  Complete your note card!
  • Summer reading is due tomorrow, so be prepared when you get here.  Have your paper printed and stapled and ready to submit as soon as you get here.  If you need more info on the summer reading assignment, check here: http://www.cobbk12.org/hillgrove/departments/english/hillgrove-english-summer-reading-2011-revised.pdf
